Weekly Update #9 - Yet Another Double Update

Goddamn, work got HANDS these days. I'm having fun tho, despite the stress, so it's all good.
We are officially back in the wagie year work period, so routine is back, this time hopefully more organized.

Training

I decided to train a bit more to rebuild a little stamina, which I sadly lost between COVID lockdowns and the last period of university.

First week of doing at least 30 mins of running and some basic exercises went ok, so I hope to keep it up!

Beep boop Linux Moments

I swapped my NVdia 770 with a newer AMD GPU in my tower and BOY does it do wonders! Worked out of the box (God bless). Now I just have to wait for the DisplayPort to VGA adapter to come intot the mail and I'll be back where I was with the 770. Hype. The media center laptop keeps on working without a hitch so, great!

Reading

Books

The torture of The Fall of Hyperion continues, with some brief spikes of interest quickly drowned by Simmons being an insufferable prick.

I managed to snag in some pages from A Clockwork Orange, and it's a really fun read, if a bit confusing and tiring from all the neolingo.

Comics

Manga

Good weeks for reading. Chapter 100 of Make the Exorcist Fall in Love sure was a thing, huh. New Tank Chair volume came out here in Italy! Man, this thing is fun to read.

I have a bit of a backlog too, bluhhhh work made me fall behind stuff to read lmao.

Webcomics

I'm pretty happy with the last months of Questionable Content, which compensates for Dumbing of Age being... uh, not as good as before.

Listening

Back in my Placebo era, lmao. Their last album Never Let Me Go (2022) has been one of the best discoveries of last year, one banger after the other.

And I took so much time to write this update that I forgot what else I listened to these weeks lmao. Time to push this one out and restart a regular schedule lmao.
